According to a 2002 survey sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation, 27.3% of Americans over the age of 16 ride bikes. And according to the City Clerk’s office, there are 1.6 million registered voters in the City of Los Angeles. Which means that roughly 400,000 voters in Los Angeles ride bikes; maybe more, maybe less. [...]
